About The Position

Beyond Yoga is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its Scottsdale location. This role is responsible for operational excellence, including daily store procedures, payroll, cash handling, and inventory control. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the team to achieve sales goals, focusing on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment. Key responsibilities include driving process adoption, opening and closing the store, resolving customer concerns, assessing and strategizing to improve performance KPIs, and assisting with hiring, training, and retention. The role also involves executing visual merchandising standards, managing product inventory, preventing losses, and coaching staff for development and growth. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager will manage minor employee relations issues, hold associates accountable for policies, build relationships, foster an inclusive environment, and act as a brand ambassador embodying the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for operational excellence in execution of daily store procedures, payroll management, cash handling and inventory control.
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the team in achieving daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and financial plan with a primary focus on employee engagement and a collaborative selling environment.
  • Accountable to store manager for driving process adoption, opening and closing the store as a visible service leader and supporting resolution of customer concerns with a positive outcome.
  • Assess and strategize how to drive performance goals (Conversion, Units Per Transaction, Sales Per Hour and other measurable KPI’s).
  • Assist in the interviewing, hiring, training and retention of store team.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires educating on Beyond Yoga core values, product knowledge, selling culture, and other employee responsibilities.
  • Execute flawless store visual presentation by following corporate visual direction and recommending merchandising adaptations where needed.
  • Ensure sound product inventory management through accurate receiving and sending processes, aides in the completion of all required business directives (ex. price changes/retickets, RTVs, markdowns, transfers).
  • Prevent losses by educating associates on customer service and ensuring company policies are being followed.
  • Coach and develop staff to increase their knowledge and skill sets, providing opportunities for continued development and growth within the organization.
  • Manage minor employee relations issues including performance management.
  • Hold associates accountable for following Beyond Yoga and LS&Co policies and procedures.
  • Build relationships and foster a positive, diverse, and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with store team and Home Office partners on building connections with the local community by way of events, drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Be a brand ambassador that embodies and can cultivate the company’s core values.
