About The Position

Pioneer Trust Bank is seeking a professional, personable, and self-motivated individual for a full-time Assistant Securities Trading Officer in their Trust department. This role is responsible for executing trading activity for Pioneer Trust Bank and its clients using multiple platforms. The position also serves as the primary contact for the Bank’s custodial clients, maintaining these relationships. The role requires providing positive and active support to the Bank, customers, and co-workers, and communicating professionally with individuals of varying investment knowledge. The Assistant Securities Trading Officer must stay current on market events affecting U.S. and international markets, be aware of intraday movements of major U.S. indices and U.S. Treasury rates, and remain knowledgeable about events affecting Approved List securities. This role also involves preparing reports for senior management and investment committees and maintaining strict confidentiality of all customer, client, and employee records.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities
