About the position

Our food and beverage management team plays a crucial role in orchestrating the guest dining experience by leading a passionate team. Managers are expected to be present on the floor during service, directly impacting both guest and staff experiences. We are looking for individuals who are not only willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done but also have fun while doing it. Creativity and a quirky sense of humor are essential as we strive to impress our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track the flow of information from superiors and distribute it to hourly teammates.
  • Be involved in decisions and communication on the floor, sharing results with teammates and superiors.
  • Manage communication between guests and all areas involved, including special requests and service issues.
  • Detail and confirm guest profiles and communicate them to FOH and BOH.
  • Handle guest issues directly and empower the team to resolve them.
  • Maintain a strong floor presence to ensure effective communication and guest interaction.
  • Communicate food issues, VIPs, reservations, and changes in business levels to kitchen and other outlets.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and post-shift recaps to communicate guest expectations and changes.
  • Handle daily tasks such as scheduling, staff assignments, and monitoring uniform standards.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new teammates, ensuring they have the tools and support needed.

Requirements

  • Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the USA.
  • TIPS certification and Food Handlers Cards must be on file.
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and state and federal liquor laws.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge in a supervisory or management position.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English with guests and coworkers.
  • Proficient computer knowledge.
