About the position

Charter Foods, a franchisee of leading brands in the Food & Beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in running great shifts and meeting Charter Foods standards and brand standards. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will take ownership and responsibility to solve problems with a smile, seek help when needed, and guide others. You will ensure that Team Members and Shift Managers complete all assigned duties, manage inventory, and maintain financial accountability. Your friendly demeanor will ensure the delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in running shifts and meeting standards.
  • Take ownership and responsibility to solve problems.
  • Guide Team Members and Shift Managers in completing assigned duties.
  • Manage inventory and maintain financial accountability.
  • Ensure delivery of safe, quality food to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail environment.
  • Experience with Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Ability to work a 50-hour work week.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and cleaning.

  • Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
