About the position

The Assistant Property Manager for Commercial Office Buildings at Zenith Real Estate is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of commercial properties. This role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing tenant relations, and ensuring the financial health of the properties. The Assistant Property Manager will also be involved in leasing activities, property inspections, and coordinating necessary repairs and services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising maintenance staff
  • Reporting work that maintenance has completed or is in process
  • Collecting rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners
  • Reporting the property's financial status, occupancy, and expiring leases to property owners
  • Meeting potential tenants, showing them the property, and assessing their applications in accordance with anti-discrimination laws
  • Advertising vacant properties and hiring a leasing agent to find tenants as needed
  • Inspecting properties and arranging for repairs and new materials as required
  • Arranging contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security, and others

Requirements

  • 2 years of property management experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Mid-level property leasing experience
