About the position

The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Architectural Engineering to join the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) Department in Fall 2025. This position is designed for a passionate educator who will contribute to the academic community by teaching, mentoring students, and developing new courses. The role emphasizes innovative teaching and collaboration with faculty to enhance student success and industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Teach fundamental courses in architectural engineering, civil engineering, and construction management.
  • Develop new courses as needed to meet educational demands.
  • Mentor undergraduate students and support their academic and professional growth.
  • Engage students in research projects related to architectural engineering.
  • Forge partnerships with industry to enhance educational opportunities and student recruitment.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated passion for teaching and student success.
  • Experience in course development and innovative teaching methods.
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty and industry partners.
