Responsibilities

  • Conduct age-appropriate assessments of patients, including history taking and physical examination.
  • Perform ongoing systematic assessment/data collection focusing on various patient needs.
  • Assess patients' conditions and set goals for clinical interventions.
  • Prescribe appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures and facilitate treatment based on results.
  • Provide direct clinical care to all assigned patients according to standards of care.
  • Maintain good citizenship standards to optimize patient care and service.
  • Participate in a rotating basis for 24-hour on-call phone coverage.
  • Meet specialty and site-specific defined productivity expectations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for billing and reimbursement accurately and timely.

Requirements

  • MD or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine
  • Licensed or eligible by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Current DEA and CDS Registration
  • Ability to type and use a computer for Electronic Medical Records
  • Manual dexterity and mobility for charting
  • Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations
  • Flexibility to work in various settings.
