About the position

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology to begin on August 15, 2025. This position primarily focuses on teaching undergraduate courses in human anatomy and physiology, along with other related biology subjects. The role also includes service duties and participation in professional development and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Teach an average of 12 contact hours per semester of undergraduate lecture and/or laboratory classes in the Fall and Spring Semesters.
• Focus on human anatomy and physiology and/or other related biology courses as needed by the department.
• Participate in governance and committee service to the Department, College, and University.
• Engage in ongoing professional activities including professional development and research, scholarship, and/or creative activity.

Requirements

• PhD in biology or a related field by May 31, 2025.
• One academic year of college-level teaching experience in biology or a related field.
