About the position

Under the direction of the Site Principal (or designee), assists in all areas of leadership, supervision, management, and administration including supervision and evaluation of assigned staff; program implementation; student supervision; participation in student, staff, and community events; and creating an overall positive image for the school and district. In the absence of the principal, may serve as the acting principal.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leadership, supervision, management, and administration.
  • Supervise and evaluate assigned staff.
  • Implement programs.
  • Supervise students.

  • Create a positive image for the school and district.
  • Serve as acting principal in the absence of the principal.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree required.
  • Five (5) years full-time teaching, guidance or counseling, or other service experience under an authorized California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) credential or equivalent.
  • Experience at the middle school level preferred.
  • Administrative Services credential required.
  • Valid California Class C driver's license and evidence of insurability required.
  • TB test clearance required.
  • Pre-employment physical and drug test clearance required.
  • Criminal Justice fingerprint clearance required.
