About the position

The College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Architecture to contribute to its growing program. Responsibilities

• Teaching architecture design and practice courses
• Providing student advising
• Participating in departmental service and coordination
• Engaging in curriculum development and program assessment
• Contributing to recruitment efforts

Requirements

• Terminal degree in architecture from an accredited institution
• Record of or clear agenda for future peer-reviewed scholarly and/or creative work
• Experience in secondary areas of knowledge related to architecture
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in design studio and lecture/seminar-based teaching at the college level

Nice-to-haves

• Professional registration in architecture
• Experience linking architectural knowledge to parallel design disciplines
