The Assistant Operations Manager at Palihotel Culver City plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations for both the hotel and food & beverage services. Responsibilities

• Oversee and support daily operations of Hotel & F&B.
• Ensure excellent customer service and adherence to service standards.
• Manage guest concerns and respond quickly and professionally.
• Maximize revenues by implementing strategies and promotions with the Food and Beverage teams.
• Assist in managing the departmental budget and oversee on-site events.
• Conduct daily inspections of F&B areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assist with interviewing, selecting, training, and scheduling food & beverage team members.
• Participate in weekly walkthroughs with the Hotel General Manager.
• Send weekly email reports to management and attend management meetings.
• Manage online reservations system and assist with FOH ordering.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of hospitality and customer service.
• Excellent leadership skills to build a cohesive team.
• Ability to think critically and objectively.
• Knowledge of budget, cost, and labor management.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for a minimum of eight hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
