About the position
TeamHealth invites you to come lead our team as an assistant facility medical director (AFMD) in the suburbs of St. Louis in Belleville, Illinois. We are the sole provider of anesthesia services at Memorial Belleville and Shiloh Hospitals. As an AMFD, you will help lead a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to excellence, all while making a noticeable difference in the lives of our patients. Responsibilities
- Lead a team of anesthesia professionals at Memorial Belleville and Shiloh Hospitals.
- Ensure excellence in patient care and operational efficiency in the operating room.
- Participate in leadership development programs and mentorship opportunities.
- Utilize innovative clinical tools to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical leaders to meet strategic growth goals.
Requirements
- Board-certified anesthesiologist.
- Proven leadership experience in a medical setting.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a Magnet recognized hospital.
- Familiarity with LEAN-certified processes.
