About the position
The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Tim Hortons plays a crucial role in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to company standards in people management, product quality, cleanliness, and guest experience. This position supports the Restaurant Manager in driving sales growth and profitability while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all aspects of the restaurant's operation to meet Tim Hortons' standards.
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Help identify and develop high potential employees for progression.
- Communicate with all shifts regarding day-to-day operations and critical focus areas.
- Assist in planning and working to budgets, maximizing profits, and achieving sales targets.
- Manage daily cash procedures and assist with financial reporting.
- Order supplies and maintain overall building cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and employment standards.
- Resolve guest complaints and enhance guest experience.
- Assist in running company-wide incentive programs and manage team member scheduling.
Requirements
- Experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of financial management and budgeting processes.
