Responsibilities
- Greet patrons and answer general questions.
- Facilitate reservations with patrons for site rental facilities.
- Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of park programs and events.
- Assist with park services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to park operations.
- Multi-task and reprioritize frequently to manage various administrative and operational tasks effectively.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and some college-level coursework in Outdoor Recreation-related field of study such as Parks Recreation and Tourism, Natural Resource Management, or similar field directly related to assignment.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's Class C license with a satisfactory driving record, or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Nice-to-haves
- One year of professional experience in a field directly related to assignment.
- Experience working outdoors with recreation amenities and customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of risk management practices in outdoor recreation venues.
