Responsibilities

  • Perform general accounting and financial analysis activities.
  • Prepare Journal Entries.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Analyze branch metrics and provide financial analysis and recommendations to the business.
  • Assist in month end closing functions.
  • Provide assistance and training to associates.
  • Prepare, complete, analyze and report accounting transactions.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and associates.
  • Focus of responsibilities may be to perform accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, credit and collection, sales rebate duties.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting and three (3) years accounting experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and 365.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic knowledge of the building materials industry preferred.
  • Proficient in utilizing PC software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities.
  • The ability to travel for training purposes.
