About the position

As the Assistant Guest Service Manager at The Fresh Market, you will support the Guest Service Manager in overseeing the guest flow and service at the front end of the store. This role is crucial in ensuring that guests have an exceptional shopping experience, as it represents the final interaction they have with the store. You will be responsible for managing front-end operations, cash office procedures, and leading the guest service team to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Guest Service Manager in managing guest flow and service at the front end of the store.
  • Oversee front-end and cash office procedures, including cash management and security controls.
  • Direct the guest service team to ensure sanitation and cleanliness at the front end and in guest restrooms.
  • Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and reduce shrink and damage.
  • Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and through internal training programs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a guest service role.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
