About the position

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) at Hardee's supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company standards, and fostering a customer-focused culture. This role involves training and coaching staff, managing inventory, and driving sales and profitability while upholding the brand's core values.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in directing daily operations of the restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, customer service, and financial accountability.
• Select, train, and coach employees to achieve key results in People, Customer, Sales, and Profit.
• Monitor and provide training on all job duties for each position in the restaurant.
• Drive a customer-focused culture by resolving customer issues and training employees to meet service standards.
• Create schedules and complete inventory orders in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure food safety standards are met during shifts.
• Analyze sales, labor, and inventory to achieve margin and sales growth targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in restaurant operations or equivalent education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
