About the position

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager in the restaurant industry who is dedicated and ambitious. This role offers competitive starting pay, flexible schedules, health benefits, and a 401k plan. Responsibilities

  • Empower the team through effective communication and engagement in regular huddles.
  • Coach and motivate Shift Leaders and crew members.
  • Recruit and develop top-grade talent.
  • Demonstrate commitment to goals and inspire others to deliver excellent performance.
  • Recognize the team with U-Rock and Fresh, Friendly and Fast recognition tools.
  • Serve those they lead through behaviors, actions, and decisions.
  • Create Great Guest Experiences by serving as a role model and coaching WOW service.
  • Take actions to solve and celebrate guest feedback.
  • Regularly observe the team and operations from the guest perspective and provide feedback accordingly.
  • Act as a Brand Champion by supporting local marketing and events.
  • Support company-wide promotions, product launches, and product samplings.
  • Assist in executing local promotions.
  • Maintain a balance between providing a high-quality employee and guest experience and achieving financial goals.
  • Execute Krystal 9 operating systems and assist in developing sales forecasts and schedules.
  • Monitor business metrics and review inventory efficiencies.
  • Control food and equipment inventory and conduct inventory counts.
  • Implement and follow up on operations and financial action plans.
  • Analyze sales and labor results throughout and after each shift.
  • Ensure the restaurant is a safe, sanitary, and appealing place for everyone.
  • Assist in compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, security, and fire policies.

Requirements

  • Excellent people leadership and guest service skills required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and Above Restaurant Leaders.
  • Ability to resolve issues in compliance with Krystal standards.
  • Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years management experience.
