About the position

The Assistant General Manager at Paradies Lagardere is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and managing daily restaurant operations to optimize profits. This role involves leading a team, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive work environment while adhering to company standards and values.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional guest service through effective management of restaurant operations.
  • Inspire and mentor team members to reach their full potential and develop career paths.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and health regulations.
  • Drive top line sales and profitability by creating effective schedules and managing labor costs.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness and food quality standards.
  • Complete all administrative duties accurately and on time, including payroll and inventory management.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in restaurant operations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Obtain and maintain current ServSafe Food Manager's Certification within six months of hire.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, and walking long distances.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in hotel/restaurant management is desirable, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in restaurant functions including food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and personnel management.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, Microsoft Office, and mathematics.
