About the position
The Assistant Community Manager at Conifer Realty is responsible for supporting the operations of the leasing office at Valore Pointe Monroe, a new community in Monroe Township, NJ. This role involves assisting the Community Manager in marketing and leasing apartments, ensuring compliance with programs, and maintaining positive relations with residents and the public. The position requires collaboration with various teams to manage apartment turnovers, leasing, and resident move-ins and move-outs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in all operations of the leasing office.
- Support the Community Manager in daily activities.
- Market and lease apartments quickly.
- Promote good working relations with residents and the public.
- Ensure program compliance and perform office tasks as required.
- Qualify new tenants and provide tours of the community.
- Handle details of move-ins according to inspection checklists.
- Manage maintenance requests for timely completion.
- Ensure residents are provided with a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
- Assist with move-outs and actively seek new residents.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years prior apartment management experience, preferably with Low-income Tax Credit and Section 8 experience.
- Resident recertification experience preferred in affordable housing.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong customer service skills to interact with team, residents, prospective residents, housing authority representatives, and visitors.
