About The Position

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (MOR) is seeking an Assistant Clinic Manager for their outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Oak Brook, IL. The ACM will work alongside the Clinic Manager/Physical Therapist to oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic. MOR is nationally recognized as a leader in comprehensive orthopedic services, with its Orthopedic Program at Rush University Medical Center ranked Top 10 in Orthopedics by U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 2003, MOR comprises internationally-renowned Orthopedic and Spine surgeons who pioneer the latest advances in technology and surgical techniques. MOR doctors are the official team physicians for several Chicago sports teams and DePaul University Athletics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Current State of Illinois Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • Current CPR Certified

Nice To Haves

  • Outpatient Orthopedic Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in directing, supervising, and coordinating activities of clinic location to ensure consistency across PT sites.
  • Assists in the selection, employment, professional development, and management of clinic employees.
  • Assists, reviews, and interprets operational problems/policies. Resolves problems, and recommends changes.
  • Works with CM to resolve problems related to utilization of facilities, equipment, supplies, and staff.
  • Evaluates patient and gather appropriate information to determine accurate clinical diagnoses and treatment plan.
  • Establishes appropriate, functional, and objective goals based upon clinical examination.
  • Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients.
  • Provides exceptional patient care and service.
  • The ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that results in positive and respectful working relationships.
  • Works with CM to develop and implement short/long term work plans and objectives for facility.
  • Meet or Exceed clinic goals related to operational performance metrics.
  • Cultivate relationships with patients and the community.
  • Provide continuous communication with referring physicians and other referral sources to ensure a consistent level of care. Working with the CM to ensure that the stuff complies with the communication to MD teams.
  • Maintain patient charts, clinical logs, and checklists necessary for compliance.
  • Markets the facility and services to increase patient volumes and community awareness.
  • Stays abreast of and complies with all state and federal laws including HIPPA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
  • Performs duties of co-workers and subordinates as workload dictates.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
