About the position

The Assistant Client Service Manager (ACSM)/Universal Banker (UB) is an onsite position and does not have remote opportunities. The Assistant Client Service Manager (ACSM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of the branch and for backing up the Client Service Manager in their absence. They are responsible for providing and managing the efficient, effective and accurate performance of all the Operations Functions of the branch including Teller functions, New Account functions and background operations tasks and duties. The ACSM is also responsible for actively cross-selling Bank products and services and to provide support to the staff in their cross-selling efforts. The ACSM also performs processing and daily tasks including the review of management reports and daily callback, solving problems associated with item and data processing, and assisting the Client Service Manager and the Regional Branch Administrator with duties and projects as requested. The ACSM will ensure that clients are served promptly, courteously, efficiently and professionally. The ACSM performs all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. In addition, the Universal Banker (UB) will be responsible for assisting clients with a variety of requests and inquiries, both over the phone and in a virtual environment using LIVE, including change of address, copies of statements and billings, payoff demands, loan advances, stop payments, billing requests, opening new accounts, and other requests that will be defined over time. Along with the Universal Banker Team Lead, the UB will be responsible for ensuring that all clients seeking assistance through LIVE receive professional, friendly, accurate and efficient service at all times, and that cross-selling techniques are applied to every client interaction. Additionally, this position will assist clients with establishing the various cash management products and services and assist with a variety of needs related to online banking, remote deposit capture, and other services. The UB assists clients with professional, friendly, accurate and efficient service, and will look for ways to cross sell other Bank products and services when applicable. This position will assist the Universal Banker Team Lead and the Cash Management Manager with a variety of other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. In addition, the UB performs all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Teller, New Account, and Operations procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of banking regulations and standard banking practices.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' Bank experience in Operations Department.
  • Excellent communication skills.
