About the position
Responsible for administering anesthesia and providing pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care to patients. Also responsible for supporting the leadership and management of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist for the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. Administrative time granted based on the operational needs of the department. The position reports directly to the Chief Nurse Anesthetist.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients.
- Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
- Support the leadership and management of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist.
- Manage administrative tasks based on departmental needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Graduate of an accredited CRNA program required.
- Three (3) years CRNA experience required.
- NBCRNA certification required.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
