About the position

Responsible for administering anesthesia and providing pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care to patients. Also responsible for supporting the leadership and management of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist for the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine. Administrative time granted based on the operational needs of the department. The position reports directly to the Chief Nurse Anesthetist.

Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia to patients.
  • Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care.
  • Support the leadership and management of the Chief Nurse Anesthetist.
  • Manage administrative tasks based on departmental needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Graduate of an accredited CRNA program required.
  • Three (3) years CRNA experience required.
  • NBCRNA certification required.
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
