Whether executing civic galas, weddings or corporate events, we keep our guests at the forefront when it comes to crafting menus, dialing in the details and providing exceptional service. Requirements

  • High school diploma, a bachelor’s degree or certification in business administration or business management is advantageous.
  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a fast casual food & beverage service operation.
  • A food handler's license and ABC RBS certified
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
  • Able to handle prolonged periods of standing.
  • Ability to lift 15-50 pounds at a time.
  • Pro-active operational floor management during service times.
  • Ability to think on their feet, innovate and resolve problems.
  • Well-developed soft skills and people skills are highly desirable.
  • Competent to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exemplary management, communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong business acumen and able to innovate, improve, think ahead and be keenly analytic.

Responsibilities

  • Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.
  • Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers
  • Exceptional customer service skills including ability to resolve customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service, where due.
  • Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in case of staff absence.
  • Ensuring that all café expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.
  • Receiving delivered café supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
  • Taking inventory of café supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising café staff
  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, healthy environment
  • Ensure complete compliance with all associated laws and regulations.
  • Carry out weekly analytics and submit reports, suggesting improvements.
