About the position
The Assistant Branch Sales Manager at the State Department Federal Credit Union (SDFCU) plays a crucial role in leading and developing a successful sales and service team. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional service to members while fostering a collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services and supervisory experience, contributing to the overall success of the branch and the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales and service team.
- Ensure exceptional service to members and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Manage branch operations and ensure compliance with credit union policies and regulations.
- Participate in team bonding events to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Support the branch in achieving sales goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related financial services company.
- At least two years of direct supervisory or management experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Associates Degree desired with knowledge of credit union and/or financial institution rules, regulations, and policies.
Nice-to-haves
- BS/BA degree in Finance or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and analytical skills.
