About The Position

Legacy Community Federal Credit Union is looking for the right candidate to join our team as a full time Assistant Branch Manager. Legacy is committed to assisting our members in the greater Birmingham area at one of our eleven branches. Additionally, we are proud to be the official credit union of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We want to help our members Craft their Legacy by providing products and services to our members that help fulfill their financial needs. We have been loyal to the UAB and Birmingham community since 1955.

Requirements

  • Prior frontline financial service experience
  • Experience handling money
  • Knowledge of the lending process
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of related experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist members with opening and closing accounts
  • Answer complex questions about products and services
  • Receive loan applications
  • Resolve problems
  • Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
