About The Position
Canby High School is hiring an Assistant Baseball Coach to begin June 1, 2026. This is a non-district funded position, contingent upon fundraised dollars. The role requires the ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public, and to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies. The coach must also be able to work with youth at camps and clinics and meet criminal records requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of emergency first aid procedures
- Current First Aid/CPR card
- Ability to work successfully with high school students, families, school staff, and the public
- Ability to perform extra duty responsibilities in accordance with school and district procedures and policies
- Ability to meet criminal records requirements of the state of Oregon
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
- Ability to work with youth at camps and clinics
- Applicant agrees to assume cost and arrange for fingerprint-based criminal records check upon offer of employment
