About the position
The School of Kinesiology at Ball State University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Lecturer of Exercise Science. Candidates with a doctorate may be considered for the rank of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor. This full-time non-tenure-line position is available August 15, 2025, for the academic year.
Responsibilities
- Teaching in the areas such as exercise physiology, exercise prescription, fitness assessment, and anatomy
- Administration of the Clinical Exercise Physiology's Adult Physical Fitness Program and/or exercise testing laboratory within the Human Performance Laboratory
- Active engagement in department, college, University, and professional service
Requirements
- Candidates must have a doctorate to be considered for the rank of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in teaching exercise science courses
