About The Position

The University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine is seeking board-eligible or board-certified applicants for a clinical faculty position to join our rapidly expanding team and become an active and integral member of the team. This is a full-time appointment in the Department of Medicine at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level for a tenure/non-tenure track position. Rank and tenure status will be determined based on education and experience. The successful candidate must have a strong interest in developing an academic career.

Requirements

• MD or equivalent plus completion of a Pulmonary/Critical Care fellowship, and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
• Curriculum vitae and three letters of recommendation must be attached.
• Final candidate will be required to provide official transcript to the hiring department upon hire.
• Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

Responsibilities

• Faculty will rotate in the ICU and consult services, as well as be assigned some nights and weekends.
• Requisite attributes include a commitment to service, a strong sense of teamwork and a desire to train tomorrow's doctors.
