About The Position

The Assembly Technician III is responsible for meeting daily production goals with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity. This role supports the assembly of Low Voltage products, performing tasks across Assembler I and II functions, including material handling, assembly, wiring, testing, rework, and shipment preparation. The position requires flexibility to support multiple areas and work collaboratively to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 1 year of industrial manufacturing experience
  • 1 year of experience using hand and air tools

Nice To Haves

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably with low-voltage electrical products or similar equipment.
  • Experience performing complex mechanical and electrical assembly beyond basic, repetitive tasks.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Commitment to ensuring all components meet established quality standards.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing processes, tasks, and priorities.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex products safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Follow all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, including PPE use, WSRA compliance, and reporting safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by sustaining 5S+ standards.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to complete assemblies accurately.
  • Inspect materials and finished products, identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and perform required testing (e.g., hi-pot).
  • Use tools, equipment, and fixtures to assemble or repair components, including layout, drilling, cutting, and painting tasks.
  • Label, organize, and prepare finished goods for shipment or storage.
  • Support other operational areas as needed and safely handle materials using proper lifting techniques (up to 40 lbs, 100 lbs push/pull with or without accommodation).
