About The Position

The Assembly Technician I is responsible for making sure all parts are assembled correctly before passing on to final test. OGI has determined this position involves safety-sensitive job duties and will be considered a safety-sensitive position for purpose of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act (“The Unity Bill.”) effective August 29th, 2019.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Possession of strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) drawings and blueprints.
  • Cut and thread piping.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16 of an inch.
  • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of pipe fittings, valves, and switches.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and crane.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
