About the position
The Solder Technician position involves working in a light industrial environment focused on soldering intricate components on circuit boards. The role is essential for ensuring high-quality production in a collaborative atmosphere at the company's R&D division and small run production facility.
Responsibilities
- Solder intricate ICs on boards and solder covers, placing components on boards per controlled parts lists, per drawing documentation and quality workmanship guidelines.
- Hand-solder SMT components per specifications.
- Hand-solder THT components per specifications.
- Wire and solder prototypes and other complex assemblies of unique or unusual design per applicable specifications.
- Cut and form (prep) components.
- Follow work process instructions and specifications, both written and verbal.
Requirements
- Soldering skills that meet IPC-A-610 Class 3 standards.
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results.
- Knowledge of SMT and Thru-hole components.
