Assembly Production Operator - All Shifts - Ottawa, Ohio

About the position

The Assembly Production Operator role at Whirlpool Corporation involves assembling compact and upright freezers in a manufacturing environment. This position is essential for maintaining production efficiency and quality standards while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Operators will work on a moving production line and are expected to perform various physical tasks throughout their shifts.

Responsibilities

• Continuously stand or walk for up to 12 hours per day
• Bend, squat, and lift up to 35lbs frequently
• Work on a moving/conveyor style production line or stabilized workstation
• Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment
• Crate and package materials, parts, products, etc.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Ability to communicate and receive communications regarding safety components and job instruction.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 months of manufacturing work experience
• 1+ years of consistent work experience
