About the position

The Assembly Leader is responsible for overseeing assembly processes within the production team at InProduction, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to quality and safety standards. This role involves managing personnel, organizing work tickets, training assemblers, and maintaining communication with other departments to achieve operational success.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient application of people and resources to meet delivery requirements while achieving quality and safety standards.
• Communicate labor needs to the Production Manager and Fab Manager.
• Ensure all personnel are wearing proper PPE and adhere to procedures and instructions.
• Create standard work procedures for assembly processes and ensure team awareness of daily targets and responsibilities.
• Organize and issue tickets by due date and manage work ticket completion and paperwork flow.
• Inspect, stamp, initial, and organize completed tickets for the warehouse.
• Maintain adherence to 6S practices, including cleaning and organizing tools and work areas.
• Keep the hardware room organized and manage inventory.
• Identify and segregate non-conforming materials, reporting them to the Fab Manager.
• Train assemblers on products and processes using standard work methods.
• Promote high standards and ensure all records are completed appropriately.
