About The Position

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates to join our Production Team as an Assembler at our Marion, Ohio manufacturing facility. The Marion, Ohio plant is the world’s largest manufacturer of clothes dryers. This position encompasses a wide range of production and specialized roles, including the assembly of components and sub-assemblies, machine operation such as loading, running, and mounting, as well as product packing, finishing, and salvage or repair work across various production lines including cell, conveyor, dryer, and commercial units. The Assembler operates various tools and equipment, strictly follows engineering blueprints and quality control standards, maintains a safe, organized, and efficient workstation, and is essential for maintaining production flow and ensuring the final product meets all specifications. The starting wage is $20.85 per hour + shift premium; with time, ability to progress up to $26.47 per hour. Please attach a resume to be considered for open positions.

Requirements

  • 1 - years of consistent work history
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Provide a high school diploma or GED
  • Be subject to and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Motivated to work as a team player who takes ownership of their work in a safety-minded environment

Nice To Haves

  • 3-months of manufacturing or distribution experience (consecutive)
  • Associates Degree

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment.
  • Perform assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and final products using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment according to engineering blueprints.
  • Operate, load, and unload various production machines including mounting machines, light machines, and specialized equipment.
  • Execute electrical repair, salvage, and specialized wiring assembly to ensure product functionality and quality.
  • Conduct final packing, finishing, and quality checks on products.
  • Monitor equipment and finished products for quality control, troubleshoot minor issues, and perform relief/repair tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area, adhering to all safety protocols and production standards.
