About the position

The Assembler position at Aerotek involves responsibilities related to frame assembly, material picking and sorting, and quality checking and packaging of products. This role is essential in ensuring that assembly standards and procedures are followed meticulously, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of production.

Responsibilities

• Frame Assembly: Prepare assembly area with correct frames, hardware, and hangers; verify materials match work orders and assemble accordingly; palletize all frames and hardware ensuring all materials are accounted for.
• Material Picking & Sorting: Interpret work orders and technical drawings to identify correct materials; select appropriate materials from inventory to fulfill production requirements.
• Quality Check and Packaging: Perform secondary inspections of palletized orders; verify correct materials were used and all parts are accounted for; package orders according to Assembly SOP and record necessary shipping information.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in production or manufacturing with large parts.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repetitively.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual attendance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with labor, assembly, lifting, production, general labor, tape measure, machine operation, forklift, press, and shear.
