About the position

The Assembler at Hubbell Incorporated plays a crucial role in the assembly line, responsible for feeding raw materials into machinery, assembling goods, and ensuring that finished products are properly labeled. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to follow engineering specifications to maintain quality and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities

• Feed raw materials into machinery on the assembly line.
• Assemble goods and attach labels and logos to finished products.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to accurately assemble equipment and products.
• Utilize hand-held tools such as air guns and wrenches.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of products at work stations.
• Rework and repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specifications.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance at the plant/warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient at reading a tape measure.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills preferred.
