Assembler - Hot Water Machines

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for Assemblers to work on hot water machines in our newest facility in Mesquite, TX.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of mechanics.
- Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical schematics/diagrams.
- Must possess the ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Must maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. but up to 65 lbs. on an occasional basis.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical Assembly: 1 year preferred.
- Mechanical and/or Electrical experience: 1 year preferred.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
Responsibilities
- Read pick lists, drawings, and work instructions to assemble complete machines.
- Understand detailed electrical wiring diagrams for final machine assembly.
- Gain understanding of machine operation and functional controls.
- Manually control machine functions and check the functionality of all related electrical assemblies.
- Understand hand tools, air wrenches, multimeter, wire stripping and crimping procedures.
- Assemble mechanical components utilizing sub-assemblies by following assembly drawings, work instructions, and other written and verbal specifications.
- Clean and maintain work area according to 5S program every day.
- Utilize pneumatic and hand tools to assist with building product.
- Perform final assembly and testing of product against required specifications.
- Keep supervisor apprised of issues related to daily performance.
- Maintain discipline and a safe working environment.
- Be willing to be cross-trained in all areas of production.
- Be punctual, responsible, and reliable.
