Pay Range: $20.00 - $27.50 Position Summary: The responsibilities of this position are to perform clerical duties including filing, assay sheet creation, data entry, record keeping and archiving. In addition, maintaining the electronic QC sheet system on all products, calibration records, product history files, and master files. Prepare reference laboratory schedules and documents. Support intra and interdepartmental staff as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of company procedures and practices.
  • Skills in problem solving; including the ability to identify and appropriately evaluate a course of action.
  • Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to work hours that conform to standard business operations
  • Attention to detail, organization, and data analysis skills are required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe are required.
  • Computer entry and/or typing skills are required.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment multitask.
  • Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing 5–50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive laboratory tasks for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity required for laboratory equipment and fine measurement techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare product folders for laboratory & assay office including all retail, OEM and survey customers.
  • Complete all master documents and reference that information into a product log file
  • File product specific paperwork into batch records.
  • Assist with communication and management of Assay Sheets sent to external print vendors, customers and Diagnostics Document Portal.
  • Troubleshooting any discrepancies when needed.
  • File completed batch records.
  • Update and maintain product history books.
  • Perform internal assay sheet print jobs
  • Ordering office supplies needed for assay office
  • Entering Assay sheets and managing the proofing process of the preliminary documents
  • Create MQI files to send to customers.
  • Enter lot and analyze specific ranges into the lab system for monitoring.
  • Manage weekly portion of whole blood calibration process.
  • Manage before and after calibration of instrument recovery data.
  • Prepare and distribute completed donor pool files.
  • Maintain calibration records.
  • Create yearly reference lab schedule.
  • Track customer account information, manage customer shipping schedules and quantities.
  • Prepare reference lab paperwork.
  • Management and archival of batch records including disposal of boxes and contents when the record retention date passes.
