About The Position

We are seeking dependable, skilled asphalt professionals to join a growing paving and road construction team. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with asphalt paving operations, including operating paving equipment, rolling asphalt, grading, and performing roadway construction tasks safely and efficiently. Requirements

• Previous asphalt paving experience required
• Experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, or related heavy equipment preferred
• Knowledge of asphalt placement, compaction, and paving procedures
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Team-oriented individuals with a strong work ethic
• Candidates who can work safely and efficiently
• Experience with roadway, highway, commercial, or municipal paving projects
• Individuals who take pride in producing quality finished surfaces

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, or related heavy equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and roadway construction projects
• Operate asphalt rollers, pavers, and other construction equipment safely
• Perform raking, shoveling, lute work, and hand-finishing of asphalt surfaces
• Ensure proper grade, slope, and compaction requirements are met
• Work alongside paving crews to complete projects on schedule
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized job site
