About the position
John Pomp Studios is a design driven art/maker studio focused on hand crafting unique sculptural pieces of furniture and lighting. As a Studio Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various aspects of our making furniture & lighting with metal, wood, glass, contributing to the seamless execution of projects and ensuring the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of luxury design and gain invaluable experience. The position offers valuable hands-on experience in a creative studio setting, where you will collaborate with craftsmen and artisans to facilitate the production process, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is upheld. You will also contribute to the finishing, painting, assembly, packaging, and shipping of finished products, ensuring accurate documentation and timely delivery to clients worldwide.

Requirements
- Previous maker experience in a similar role within the design or manufacturing industry is preferred, although not required.
- A passion for design, craftsmanship, and luxury goods, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to assist with lifting, moving, and assembling furniture and lighting fixtures.
