About the position

The Art Director for FIFA World Cup 26™ Official Hospitality Program is responsible for leading the creative direction and execution of visual concepts that align with the brand identity and strategic goals of the program. This role requires a strong background in art direction, particularly in advertising and branding, along with a passion for soccer and hospitality. The Art Director will collaborate with various teams to create compelling brand experiences and oversee multiple projects from ideation to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative creative solutions that align with key business goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a high standard of creative integrity across all communications with both internal and external teams.
  • Clearly communicate the intent of creative concepts and proposed solutions.
  • Take projects from iteration to execution with minimal supervision.
  • Develop a strong and collaborative environment with cross-functional partners.
  • Oversee and prioritize multiple projects to meet established deadlines.
  • Prepare creative ideas and fresh approaches to each project.
  • Thoroughly review creative briefs to assess project requirements.
  • Constantly study and find innovative ways to connect with our audience.
  • Demonstrate a strong, strategic understanding of various marketing platforms, including social media, web, out-of-home, event activations, and print.
  • Manage and mentor designers, fostering an inclusive and inspiring environment.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of creative and art direction experience at an advertising and branding agency preferred.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction in visual design, typography, and illustration.
  • Proficiency in design software, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a MUST.
  • Experience in campaign strategy and concepting.
  • Team-oriented with excellent partnership skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency (especially French and/or Spanish).
  • Knowledge of FIFA regulations and standards related to marketing and hospitality.
