The ARPA-H GenAI Developer position at ECS Federal, LLC is focused on supporting the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) by providing scientific and technical expertise in generative AI. The role involves leading the development and deployment of AI/ML applications, analyzing complex data to inform agency strategies, and collaborating with diverse teams to enhance healthcare innovation. This position is contingent upon contract award and offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $180,000.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as AI/ML Expert: Lead the ideation/conceptualization, development, deployment, overall strategy, and oversight of multiple programs utilizing generative AI.
  • Utilize in-depth generative AI and machine learning knowledge to assist ARPA-H in shaping future programs and manage the delivery of multiple disparate performer teams.
  • Lead project management for the development, testing, and deployment of enterprise AI/ML application solutions.
  • Analyze and interpret complex internal data to uncover actionable insights, informing ARPA-H leadership on opportunities to enhance agency-wide data strategy and innovation initiatives.
  • Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to evaluate data innovation projects, supporting program development and optimizing cross-agency data utilization efforts.
  • Actively track and analyze new research findings in the field of generative AI.
  • Identify and propose emerging methodologies and technologies that could enhance the program's progress.
  • Participate in scientific discussions and presentations, contributing expertise to the program's overall knowledge base.
  • Build strong relationships with computational scientists, engineers, and other scientific advisors involved in the program.
  • Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.

Requirements

  • Masters in Computer Science or related scientific field.
  • 8 years minimum AI/ML experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write scientific reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
