About the position

This position is for managing and cleaning a warehouse at a large distribution center. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and grounds by performing essential duties and responsibilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures. This includes sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, window cleaning, and dusting. Additionally, the role involves maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, using proper PPE where required, and opening and locking facilities while enabling and disabling the security system as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Use proper PPE where required
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required

Requirements

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• 1-2 years' experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
