About the position

The Area Business Manager (ABM) for Sanofi Vaccines in Cincinnati, OH is responsible for driving business outcomes across a full portfolio of vaccines. This role involves engaging in account-based business interactions, implementing a new go-to-market strategy, and strengthening customer relationships. The ABM acts as an account orchestrator, leveraging cross-functional support to improve customer and patient outcomes while meeting individual business goals in a compliant manner.

Responsibilities

  • Grow portfolio share and revenue and consistently deliver on product goals.
  • Be a therapeutic area expert, effectively positioning and differentiating products.
  • Collaborate with key field-based stakeholders to proactively address customer needs.
  • Identify market dynamics and trends, developing strategies to support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Engage with account and territory data, using insights to help HCPs operate effectively.
  • Determine optimal ABM strategy for HCPs leveraging AI and digital tools.
  • Drive results by identifying key opportunities and developing strategic business plans.
  • Understand and differentiate portfolio contracting options and competitive offerings.
  • Perform according to a buy/bill model, including complex pricing analysis and contract compliance.
  • Flex to changing environments and sales methodologies, including remote selling techniques.
  • Plan, organize, and execute local promotional speaker programs and activities.
  • Maximize budget allocated to the territory to support execution of strategies and tactics.
  • Participate and help lead initiatives to support sales success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical, life science, or business to business sales experience
  • Broad understanding of the healthcare environment and decision-making processes
  • Strong commercial business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to navigate a hybrid environment and determine optimal HCP selling model
  • Experience with omnichannel approaches and customer engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to use data analytics to derive insights
  • Passion for science and proactive in strengthening knowledge related to healthcare trends
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage
