About the position

AM Partners, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Drafting Technician to join their team in Honolulu, HI. This full-time position requires proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a focus on preparing architectural drawings and details. The ideal candidate will be a Hawaii resident, capable of working in-office, and will contribute to the architectural drafting process while adhering to CAD standards and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings and details using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Draft finished drawings from hand-sketches, reference drawings, photographs, and directions from senior team members.
• Ensure proficiency with U.S. National CAD Standards.
• Draft efficiently and accurately to meet submittal deadlines.

Requirements

• Associates of Science degree in Architectural or Engineering Technologies, Computer Aided Design, or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Architecture degree or higher is highly preferred.
• 2+ years of work experience in architectural drafting using Revit.
• 2+ years of experience working in an architecture company.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in architectural detailing.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in SketchUp, Enscape3d, and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with current building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
