Responsibilities
- Receive project requests and draft designs.
- Measure and document existing building conditions.
- Prepare conceptual drawings, construction drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architect and design team to ensure accuracy of design work.
- Ensure design specifications adhere to safety standards and building codes.
- Provide construction administration support including project site visits.
Requirements
- Ability to produce and interpret construction documents.
- Experience developing creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors.
- Detail oriented.
- Experience creating simple structural designs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Lumion, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
- Zero to three years or more of related experience.
- Previous Internship or working experience with architecture firm preferred.
- Desire and ability to obtain licensure once experience requirements are met.
