About the position

Actalent, a global design firm headquartered in Denver, is seeking talented Architects to join their team. This position is primarily located in Denver, and relocation assistance is available for candidates currently residing in the Chicago area who are interested in moving. The role involves engaging in all aspects and phases of medium to large-sized projects, which requires a collaborative approach to work with internal design teams, clients, vendors, and contractors. Architects will be expected to work closely with project designers and managers to understand and execute project goals, with a strong emphasis on sustainable design principles. In this role, you will develop design solutions and create technical construction documents while supervising the team's development of project deliverables. A key aspect of the position is the ability and desire to mentor junior staff, fostering their growth and development within the firm. You will also be responsible for organizing and leading meetings with consultants and clients, as well as presenting in client meetings to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and fabricators. Additionally, there may be opportunities to participate in marketing efforts and lead presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the firm's capabilities and project successes.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in all aspects and phases of medium to large sized projects
  • Work collaboratively and lead internal design teams, clients, vendors, and contractors

Requirements

  • Must be an architectural school graduate or equivalent
  • Must be a Licensed Architect (in any state) or pursuing Licensure
  • Aviation project experience is preferred, but will also consider convention centers, courthouses, museums, or other large, complex projects
  • LEED AP BD+C and/or WELL AP credentials preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit
