About the position

The Architect position with the Mobile County Commission involves responsible professional architectural work focused on the planning, design, review, inspection, and coordination of significant building construction, alteration, and maintenance projects for the jurisdiction. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor of architecture degree from a recognized college or university accredited by the NAAB.
  • Minimum of three years of responsible professional experience as a registered architect.
  • Licensure as a Registered Architect by the State of Alabama Board of Architects, or ability to become registered within 6 months if licensed in another state.
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence.
