About the position

Bloom Companies, LLC is seeking a motivated and qualified Architect to join their growing architectural department. The ideal candidate will be involved in developing electronic drawings, coordinating materials, and integrating engineering elements into design documents, while also demonstrating leadership and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electronic drawings, providing both conceptual and technical solutions.
  • Assist in research and coordination of materials and product for project specifications.
  • Coordinate and integrate engineering elements and consultant work into a unified set of design documents.
  • Develop building systems and other technical solutions with limited oversight.
  • Interface with the Director of Architecture and project managers.
  • Work on multiple projects within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Demonstrate leadership and team management skills, effectively interacting with team members, clients, and other agencies.
  • Participate in activities that strengthen the company's culture, knowledge base, and capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and professional commitment.
  • Design and creative talent with confidence to take design initiative.
  • Propose and develop innovative, industry-leading design solutions.
  • Self-starting with strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good decision-making skills, flexibility, focus on quality, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modeling or rendering software.
  • Demonstrated progress toward becoming a Registered Architect.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with public project delivery process- CDB (Illinois) and/or DFD (Wisconsin) is preferred.
